Download the relevant application form from our Resources page, complete it with your qualifications and experience details, and submit it along with certified copies of your certificates and two professional references. The Membership Committee reviews applications within 4–6 weeks.
Subscription fees vary by membership grade. Contact our membership team at membership@leiangr.org for current fee schedules. Fees are reviewed annually by the National Council.
Yes. LEIA training programmes are open to both members and non-members. However, members receive significant discounts on all training fees. We encourage non-member participants to consider applying for membership.
Yes. LEIA Nigeria's experienced instructors can deliver bespoke training programmes at your premises, tailored to your equipment, operations, and specific regulatory context. Contact training@leiangr.org for details and a quotation.
Members maintain a personal CPD log, recording qualifying activities and the hours claimed. LEIA provides a CPD record template. At renewal, members certify that they have met the annual minimum requirement. A random sample of CPD records may be audited by the Education & Training Committee.
Use the incident report form on our Resources page, or email a brief description to safety@leiangr.org. All reports are treated in strict confidence. You do not need to be a member to submit a report, and personal details can be anonymised on request.
Corporate membership is open to any company involved in the lifting equipment industry — manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, inspection firms, contractors, and operators. Contact info@leiangr.org to receive a corporate membership pack and fee schedule.
